The venue
Mirada Del Mar Hotel, Kemer
Set within a green estate of about 100,000 square metres in the Kemer region of Antalya, the Mirada Del Mar Hotel lies some 35 kilometres from Antalya city centre and 45 kilometres from the international airport. Its natural sandy beach stretches for 260 metres where the sea meets the pine covered coast.
The hotel has 542 rooms and a capacity of 1,108 beds. Every room includes central air conditioning, satellite television, an international telephone line, a safe, a minibar, carpeted floors and a bathroom with a bath, WC and hairdryer.

Travelling to Antalya
Reaching the congress area
Antalya is Turkey's gateway to the Mediterranean and has a busy road and air network. Researchers travelling from within Turkey can usually reach the city by road or air at almost any hour. Participants arriving from abroad are advised to book flights to Antalya Airport.
The airport is about 25 kilometres from the congress area, reachable by shuttle service or private taxi. Taxis from the airport typically charge around 100 Turkish lira. Travellers arriving by coach reach the Antalya city bus terminal, which is about 10 kilometres from the congress area, and can continue by local minibus, bus or taxi. Taxis from the bus terminal typically charge around 50 Turkish lira.
An airport to hotel transfer, and a hotel to airport transfer, was offered at 50 Turkish lira per person for a single journey.
The region
Kemer and the Antalya coast
Kemer is an important tourism centre where green meets blue, known for its accommodation, restaurants and beaches, its marinas and its historic towns. The ancient sites of Phaselis and Olympos lie nearby and can be reached by road or by sea. The area is also known for its caves, including Beldibi Cave about 27 kilometres south west of Antalya, where traces of prehistoric life have been found.
Along the Antalya coast, places such as Alanya, Side, Manavgat, Kemer, Kas, Finike, Serik and Demre await visitors. Antalya itself carries the legacy of the ancient city of Attalia, and its shoreline offers memorable views at every turn.
