Oral presentations
Rules for oral papers and good practice examples
- No indentation should be used in the abstract.
- The abstract should be written in at least 300 and at most 500 words.
- If abbreviations are used in the abstract, the full form of each abbreviation should be given in parentheses.
- The abstract should state the purpose, method, findings and results of the study. Subheadings should not be used.
- At least two and at most four keywords should be provided for the study.
- A person may appear as an author in at most three papers. If the paper is single authored, the author may appear in only two papers.
- Presentation time is limited to a maximum of fifteen minutes.
- The presentation language may be Turkish or English.
Posters
Rules for poster presentations
- Posters may be prepared in Turkish or English.
- Posters must follow the poster template provided by the symposium and should include an introduction, the purpose of the research, findings, results and recommendations, and a reference list.
- Posters must be prepared using the Times New Roman typeface. Poster text, tables and drawings should be designed to be read easily from a distance of two metres, using 1.5 line spacing.
- The display area is 70 by 90 centimetres, so the poster must be prepared to fit these dimensions.
- Poster owners are responsible for printing their own posters.
- The presentation day, hall and presentation details of selected posters are announced to the presenter on the symposium pages.
- Posters remain displayed for the duration of the symposium. Each poster owner must be present beside their poster during the poster session and should explain their work.
- The materials needed to mount posters are provided by staff in the poster area. The organising committee is not responsible for damage that may occur while a poster is being mounted or removed.
- At the end of the specified period, posters are removed by their owners.

Authors are encouraged to follow a consistent citation style. Many contributors use the conventions of the APA style guide for references in education research.
